Commute times in Independence -how bad?

So, Been living here since 2023. It's a a small town city with about 10,088 people. Rent is about $1,585/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $345,200 on average. Household incomes average around $79,158 in Independence. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
