Thinking about relocating to Indio from St. Louis

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Austin and Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 90,669, Indio is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. TIA! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Atlanta it's better than expected.
