Moving to Inglewood -what should I know?

OK so With a population of 106K, Inglewood is a mid-size city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cheers.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from San Diego about 11 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 14 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
