Moving to Inglewood with kids -good idea?

Anyone else feel this way? Crime rate is something to consider -Inglewood sits at 613.4 per 100K. The median home value here is around $744,300, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a mid-size city city with about 106K people. You can expect to pay around $1,725 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. TIA! The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
