Is Inkster a good place to live?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 29.9%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 25,602, Inkster is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

I work in hospitality here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is decent. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
