Inman is underrated, change my mind

Random thought, I'm originally from Denver and The median home value here is around $178,600, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $55,156, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 13.5%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Inman sits at 124.8 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Came here for retirement and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The traffic is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Oak Park area are average. Kids love it here.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
