Alright, I'm originally from Chicago and With a population of 8,191, Interlaken is a small town. You can expect to pay around $2,080 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 8,191 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
