Cost of living reality check -Inwood

Hi all, Poverty rate is 12.3%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Inwood sits at 119.0 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts?   Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
