Best kept secrets of Irondale, AL

First post here. The unemployment rate is 5.5%, which is about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
