First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -Irondequoit sits at 839.1 per 100K. Poverty rate is 5.5%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
