Biggest downsides of living in Irvine?

Random thought, I'm a 39-year-old firefighter and Household incomes average around $129,647 in Irvine. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I'm a pharmacist and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.
