Cost of living reality check — Irvine

Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 8.6%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
