Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $264,600 on average. Household incomes average around $84,412 in Isanti. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is average.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. No regrets on my end..
