Is Island Park worth it salary-wise?

Hey folks, Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 4,958, Island Park is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Greenfield area are improving. Kids love it here.
