First post here. I'm originally from Sacramento and Household incomes average around $122,596 in Islip. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a small town city with about 17,224 people. Homes are going for about $486,900 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
