OK so Homes are going for about $486,900 on average. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs?

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Nashville about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
