Best companies to work for in Jackson?

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $75,900 on average. It's a a small town city with about 2,128 people. Rent is about $494/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Bought a house here in 2020 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Salt Lake City it's surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 2 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in East area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
