Hi all, I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thanks for reading. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
