Anyone else love living in Jacksonville?

Hey everyone, Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $47,146, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 14,345 people. Rent is about $794/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Boring for young people
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development.
