How much do you pay for rent in Jacksonville?

Longtime lurker here, Homes are going for about $155,300 on average. Poverty rate is 13.7%, which is around average. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Jacksonville sits at 958.5 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Low taxes
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
- Plenty of shopping options
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Lack of diversity
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
What would you do? Any help is appreciated. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
