Is Jacksonville worth it salary-wise?

Hello, Military spouse here. Median household income is $46,947, which feels on the lower side for the area. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 13.7%, which is around average. The median home value here is around $155,300, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
