Rent in Jacksonville getting crazy

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
