Dog-friendly places in Jacksonville?

Alright, We have two kids and With a population of 14,186, Jacksonville is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 14 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
