Raising a family in Jacksonville -thoughts?

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 13 months ago and With a population of 14,186, Jacksonville is a small town. Median household income is $50,469, which feels on the lower side for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
