Moving to Jacobus with kids -good idea?
I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here?

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- The cultural scene scene is average
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Used to live on the Fairview side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
