Anyone work in healthcare in James City?

Hey everyone, Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 5.6%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The weather scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Fairview area are average. Kids love it here.
