James Island in the winter -how bad?

Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -James Island sits at 439.6 per 100K. Median household income is $100,176, which feels pretty solid for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
