Cheapest neighborhoods in Jamesburg?
Hello, The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've lived in Highland for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The housing market scene is decent
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been here 8 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is hit or miss.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
