Moving to Jamestown with kids -good idea?

Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 15,774, Jamestown is a small town. You can expect to pay around $741 for rent here. Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $54,809, which feels on the lower side for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.
