Housing market in Jamestown right now

Alright, Just moved here 10 months ago and The unemployment rate is 5.0%, which is about average. Median household income is $44,878, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 28,401, Jamestown is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 7 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
