Rent vs buy in Janesville -what makes sense?

Been living here since 2022. With a population of 65,813, Janesville is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Anyone in a similar situation? Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
