Thinking about relocating to Janesville from San Francisco

Hello, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $209,700 on average. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $209,700, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is underrated in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much pricey but now it's decent.
