Hey folks, With a population of 16,421, Jasper is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
Longtime lurker here, Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $203,300, which is actually reasonable. The city has invested a lot in new development. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
Anyone else feel this way? Crime rate is something to consider -Jasper sits at 307.1 per 100K.
