Pros and cons of Jeannette after 5 years

Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 15.5%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $817 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I work in healthcare here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is average. No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2019 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
