Jefferson housing prices -when will it stop?

Crime rate is something to consider -Jefferson sits at 153.0 per 100K. With a population of 14,249, Jefferson is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
