What's it really like living in Jefferson Valley-Yorktown?

Curious what people think. I've been here for 1 years and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $152,948 in Jefferson Valley-Yorktown. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs?

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 7 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
