Day-to-day life in Jeffersontown, KY

My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Jeffersontown sits at 110.7 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much wild but now it's pretty good.

Came here for family and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
