Best neighborhoods to rent in Jeffersonville?

Longtime lurker here, The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,090/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,090 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 8 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great craft beer places. the quality of life is solid.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
