Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $104,970, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $285,600 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,555 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.
