What I wish I knew before living in Jerome

First post here. We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 12.9%, which is around average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Midtown area are average. Kids love it here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for school and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cost of living is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
