Jersey Village job market vs Charlotte

Random thought, Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $326,700, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 7,817 people. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The food scene is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
