Jessup is underrated, change my mind

Longtime lurker here, Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 16.6%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The cost of living is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Houston it's average.
