Day-to-day life in Johns Creek, GA

Alright, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $160,185 in Johns Creek. Median household income is $160,185, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,173/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $583,700 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Mediterranean places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is underrated.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
