How is Johns Creek for outdoor activities?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Cincinnati and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Johns Creek sits at 33.2 per 100K. Rent is about $2,173/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Chicago about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..
