Worst things about living in Johns Creek

Look, I love Johns Creek, but let's be real about the downsides:

Some areas are rundown
Property taxes are high
Not much to complain about honestly

Don't get me wrong, it's still a great place overall. But people should know what they're getting into.

Rent tip: look for places in winter. Prices drop and there's more availability.

The job market has been improving lately. Several government companies moved in recently.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Don't sleep on Eastside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Coming from Seattle, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

As someone who moved here from Philadelphia, I can confirm most of this. The cost of living surprised me the most.

Check out the Westside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!
