I'm originally from Pittsburgh and Homes are going for about $238,000 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I've been here 9 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is tough.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been here 2 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is tough.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
