Johnston quality of life -am I missing something?

Just moved here 2 months ago and The median home value here is around $346,200, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,288/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Diverse community
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Limited dining options
- Homelessness issues downtown
- Not enough green space
Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
