Job hunting in Joliet — tips?

Hey folks, I'm originally from San Francisco and It's a a mid-size city city with about 150K people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Joliet? Cheers. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The safety is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Greenfield area are excellent. Kids love it here.
