Best companies to work for in Jones?

Hey, Median household income is $76,058, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from San Diego about 3 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
