How is the nightlife in Joplin?
Hey, With a population of 52,218, Joplin is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $51,154 in Joplin. Rent is about $889/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
